Micro Film Shoots

Once a month we host a Micro Film shoot at the studio. The pitch is simple, assemble a cast and crew from the pool of people who come to the shoot, choose a director, select a 1-2 page script from a diverse collection written by our members, and shoot a film in three hours.

Micros are a great opportunity to learn about a role on a film set. Want to learn how to be a cinematographer? This is the time to get hands-on with equipment and to learn from experienced people on set. Want to try directing? Go for it! Want to try acting? You've got the part! Micro shoots are low stakes environments where the goal is to practice and to network.

Micro Shoots usually happen once a month on a Saturday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Check out our calendar to find the next shoot. The door is open to anyone interested in making a film.
